L’Oreal Sulfate Free Shampoo and Conditioner

I am not fond of doing my hair.  My hair is wavy, thick and to the middle of my back.  Most of the time, I wear it in a bun or ponytail.  Rarely do I wear my hair down as it makes me hot and I have a penchant for super sticky lipgloss and having hair sticking to my lips is not appealing.

That being said, I really do not take good care of my hair.  I recently had it styled and colored and the hairstylist commented on how dry my hair felt.   I am trying to use more natural products, or at the very least, products without parabens!  I was also looking for shampoos and conditioners without any sulfates in them.  The few brands that I have tried, did what they were supposed to do, which is clean my hair.  But my hair just never felt right.  While I could have splurged and bought salon grade products for my hair, I just did not feel right about the purchase.  (Makeup, however, that is a DIFFERENT story!)

Enter L’Oreal’s sulfate free line.  I tried the Hydrate version.  It comes in these green tubes, which I prefer over bottles.  It gives me the feeling that I am able to squeeze out more product!  It has a minty/rosemary scent to it, which I actually enjoy.  I have tried mint-rosemary scented products before and not being a fan of rosemary, did not enjoy them at all.  This one is different, I just smell a refreshing scent.

I love the way my hair smells and feels after using this shampoo and conditioner.  I still need to use a leave in conditioner but even without it, my hair is not that bad.  There is less frizz and it does not look weighed down.
