I can not have naked lips. I NEED something on them, preferably with a little bit of color. While I love lip gloss, sometimes the glossiness can be a bit much. So I reach for tinted lip balm.
Right now, I am LOVING the Burt’s Bees lip balm!
It does not have a waxy texture nor does it feel oily. It goes on smooth and has a light fruity scent and taste! It is not too pigmented. I have it in Red Dahlia and Hibiscus. Interestingly, the Hibiscus, while lighter in color, actually shows up more on lips.
Red Dahlia, in the tube, looks like a maroon color. When I put it on my lips, I really do not see any color. I am not sure if it is just the tube that I bought or what. My lips are not very pigmented.
Hibiscus, in the tube, looks like a peachy pink color. When I wear it, it gives me a light pink color on lips, which is great for summer! It seems to make my face look more tanned. I like to add a teeny bit of sparkle to the center of my lower lip.
These lip balms are a huge improvement over the previous lip balms! The tube is bigger, the product is not as melty and I love the scent and taste.
